This beautifully appointed, sunny, cozy cottage offers two bedrooms; the spacious master with a four poster queen bed, and the guest room, also with a queen. The fully equipped kitchen is petite, yet has ample built-in work space. A dining area adjoins the sitting room and sits juxtaposed to an enchanting, wood-burning fireplace for the chillier evenings. Heavy wicker furniture is topped with comfy chintz covered cushions and allows for complete relaxation after a tough day of hiking.
A single bathroom serves all the guests, though there is a private door to the master bedroom.
The Cottage is warmed in the winter months by propane heat, and swamp cooled in the summer for year-round comfort. A washer and dryer are also provided.
To ensure your privacy, there are no telephones, nor will your cell phone work in the canyon. Your electronic entertainment will consist only of the movies you choose from our large selection, or listening to beautiful music. We believe people cannot truly recharge their soul batteries in this extraordinary setting if they are constantly bombarded with the less than optimistic news of the outside world.
You will have complete access to the ranch facilities, which include a swimming pool (summer only) and picnic/barbeque area, hot tub, a lighted tennis court, and a catch-release fish pond. Our horses, however, are not available for riding. You are welcome to bring your own which we will board for a nominal fee. (see amenities)
You can bring in your own food and cook your own meals, or if you prefer, you may travel to the city of Springdale (20 min. by car) for their selection of restaurants and shops. As this is a house rental, you will also be responsible for keeping your own space clean unless you request it as an extra service.
